    A teenage cricketer from India , Yashasvi Jaiswal made his national team debut in 2022. He was born in Suriyawan, Uttar Pradesh, India, on December 28, 2001.

    When Jaiswal was a small child, his family relocated to Mumbai, and he soon began playing cricket on the city's streets. In order to pay for his cricket equipment and training, he had to live in tents as a child and work as a ball boy at Azad Maidan.



    Despite these obstacles, local cricket coaches recognised Jaiswal's talent, and he started participating in various tournaments in Mumbai. Jwala Singh, a former cricketer for India and current coach, noticed him and took him under his wing to help him improve.

    In 2019, Jaiswal made his debut for the Indian Under-19 cricket team. In the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, when India made the final, he scored the most runs. In the competition, he scored 400 runs, including a century against Pakistan in the semifinal.

    Jaiswal was acquired by the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 2020 season as a result of his outstanding performances in the Under-19 World Cup. In September 2020, he played in his first IPL match, defeating the Chennai Super Kings with his first half-century.
